Rigger

• Assist in setting up and dismantling rigging equipment for lifting operations.
• Follow instructions from the Senior Rigger and Lifting Supervisor to execute safe lifts.
• Check lifting gear, slings, and shackles for visible defects before and after use.
• Attach loads securely using proper rigging techniques and sling configurations.

• Support crane operators by ensuring loads are properly balanced and positioned.
• Use tag lines to control load movement and maintain safe distances during lifting operations

• Communicate effectively with team members using hand signals and radio communication.
• Adhere to site safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and lifting guidelines.
• Report damaged or defective rigging equipment to the Senior Rigger for corrective action.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and on-the-job

Experience:

• 5+ years relevant experience in lifting operations
• 3-5 years in a Rigging role
• Proven record for the execution of lifting operations within the oil and gas industry

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Certification in lifting operations, NPORS O047
• Rigging and Fleeting loads
• Good knowledge of different types of cranes, lifting accessories, and rigging equipment

• Experience in emergency response planning for lifting operations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Satisfactory level of English language knowledge
