About the job
Duties & Responsibilities (shall include but not be limited to):
· Effectively participate in the Stop Observe Act Report (SOAR) program and encourage active participation.
· Perform emergency duties as per the Station Bill and Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
· Comply with and effectively contribute to the continuous improvement of RMS, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) related policies and procedures, and relevant authority regulatory requirements.
· Assist or direct the review and/or approval of any HSE-related or other relevant documentation impacting their area of responsibility.

· Ensure authorized lift plans, risk assessments, and procedures are in place before lifts, and that crane operations are carried out within the operational parameters.
· Ensure that all work assigned to deck crews is properly planned and that all relevant personnel have been involved in the planning process.
· Ensure effective execution of mechanical lifting operations.
· Ensure cranes and all associated lifting equipment are used according to manufacturers’ specifications and company procedures.

· Assist in the management of the mentoring process by the Mentoring Program.
· Participate in the Competence Program.
· Supervise and manage crews by supervisory roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
· One year experience as a certified Crane Operator Stage III for another offshore drilling company and/or completion of the ARO On Job Training (OJT) program for Crane Operator.
· Saudi Nationals: Hold a valid driver license and Aramco Heavy Equipment License for operating offshore pedestal mounted cranes.
· Other Nationalities: Completion of reputable 3rd Party training and certification for operating offshore pedestal-mounted cranes.
